FAQs

1. Can we really take professional photos at a Disney Resort? Absolutely! While photography inside the parks requires special permissions, photography sessions at Disney Resort hotels are allowed. Many families love capturing their memories in these beautiful, themed locations—no park ticket required and no crowds! 2. Do we need to be staying at the resort to take photos there? Nope! While it is more convenient and cuts down on travel time for you, you don’t have to be staying at the resort to take photos there. Disney Springs offers buses to all Disney resorts and the Disney Boardwalk.  3. Do you sell additional images separately? Good news! The promised number of images (40 or 60) is a minimum, and I always include extras when I have them (and I often have quite a few)! I'm a mom too, so of course I'm going to include every beautiful moment that I can in your gallery...no additional cost. Those babies grow fast, and every image is precious! 4. How and when will we get our photos? You’ll receive your fully edited, high-resolution images via a private online gallery within 2-3 weeks. You can easily download them and share the link with family. The gallery expires after 6 months, but there is an unlimited number of downloads within that time! 5. What should we wear for a Disney resort photo session? Coordinating colors without matching exactly works great. Soft pastels, neutrals, or bold pops of color can really shine against the Disney resort backdrops. I’m happy to give wardrobe tips once you book! 6. Can we bring props or wear Disney-inspired outfits? Of Course! Mickey ears, character-inspired outfits, bubbles, or a favorite stuffed animal can add a fun and personal touch.  7. Will you pose us and give direction? Definitely! I’ll guide you the whole time—giving poses and prompts to help you feel natural and connected. I’ll also capture some candid moments that show your family’s real joy and love. If you'd prefer a more documentary style session where I stand back and capture an activity (s'mores at the campfire, a boat ride, ice cream on the boardwalk, etc...), I'm always up for that! 8. What time of day is best for our session? Golden hour—the hour just after sunrise or just before sunset—is perfect for that soft, flattering natural light. Most families prefer evening sessions, but early mornings are a fantastic option if your crew is up for it! 9. Can we travel to a 2nd location during our session? Sometimes. I love this idea for a senior session or a family with older kids or teenagers! -- If the 2nd location requires a bus, skyliner, or boat ride, then you'll need to book the Storybook Session. (ex: start at Art of Animation/ride skyliner over to the Boardwalk) -- If the 2nd location is walkable, then we can definitely make that happen for a Enchanted Storybook or Magical Moments session! (ex: start at Yacht Club/walk to Boardwalk OR start at Riviera/walk over to Carribean Beach Resort) Ask me for more ideas!
