Lighthouse Point Park is a pristine beach with tall sand dunes, a rock jetty, and raised boardwalks surrounded by tropical plants. It's a perfect place for family photos! I'd never ventured over to explore the dog beach until I was asked by this sweet family to include their dog, Millie, in their session. The dog beach is a peninsula that juts out somewhere between the Atlantic ocean and the Halifax River. It's INCREDIBLE! It has one of the best beach views of the Ponce Inlet lighthouse, complete with rock ledges and beautiful greenery. I'm in LOVE with this location, and trust me when I say that the dog beach is 100% worth visiting...dog or no dog!

I want to mention that this mom nailed it on the outfit choices. My heart did a little happy dance when I saw them off in the distance! I do my very best to utilize light, camera settings, and editing software for gorgeous photos, but outfit colors determine the look of the final product. If you want light, airy beach photos, choose light and neutral colors; if you like contrast and bold photos, choose bold colors. Easy peasy!
